Leggett Farms is Hiring an Office Manager Near Nashville, NC

Leggett Farms is a progressive family farm located in Nashville, North Carolina. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Office Manager to join our team. This position will be responsible for assisting the Owners and other Managers in the following areas:

· Financial Management Assistance

· Administrative and Clerical Duties

· Office Administration

Position is full-time, (can be part-time 30 hours per week) and offers a competitive wage, ongoing training, and advancement!

Requirements:

· Associates degree or higher in Accounting or Business-related area is desired.

· Candidate must be proficient in the use of QuickBooks software.

· 2 years’ experience in accounting/bookkeeping and payroll, desired.

· Knowledge of agriculture/farming is desired.

· A positive and helpful attitude that is always learning and team oriented.

Duties include:

· Input and process accounts payable and receivables in a timely and accurate manner.

· Financial Reporting.

· Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data.

· Prepares and submits payroll.

· Updates payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department transfers.

· Answering, screening, and directing phone calls, supplying general information to callers, distributing messages, greeting, and directing visitors in a professional and friendly manner.

· Perform clerical duties including but not limited to photocopying, faxing, mailing, emailing, and filing.

· Use computer word processing, spreadsheet, and database software to prepare reports, memos, and documents.

Ideal candidates will be Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Etc.), QuickBooks, and have the ability to learn database and accounting software.
